Insulated flexible ductwork is easy to work with and prevents condensation problems when duct is run through unfinished spaces (attics, crawls, etc). The insulated jacket also provides sound-dampening benefits to reduce fan/blower noise.

Much easier then trying to run uninsulated ducting and then insulating it later. Seems a little easier to handle then the 4" version. Feels like a nice quality of materials. Inside diameter could be a tad bit smaller to make a sung fit.

I installed QuietFlex to replace Aluminum formable ducts. The difference in Air noise was incredible. The QuietFlex ducts are many times quieter. This is important because I installed two in-line fans that each move 450cfm. The QuietFlex are slightly more difficult to install but well worth the effort.

this was the suggested duct for my whispergreen fan. i only used about 5feet of it, but its alot better than the stuff at [...] so i wanted some extra. i suggest buying some long plastic tie straps from ur hardware store because its the simplest way to mount the duct to ur fan/flashing

Part of replacement project of a shower fan and couple of lights. Orig. duct was cheap 4 in. duct that caused condensation back to old shower fan which discolored drywall on ceiling.
After I finished work, I pull the old duct work out and it was a moist mildew mess inside.

No negatives. Works as it should. Be advised that this ducting is covered with black plastic. If you are looking for a foil covered product, look elsewhere. I had no problem with kinking as some others seem to have. Installed with various bends including 90's with no problem. Used strapping to hang with no problem.
